Hi, I’m Gisella. I design custom lettering that transforms words into distinctive visual statements. I collaborate with businesses, agencies, and publishers to help their message stand out through lettering that is memorable, expressive, and uniquely crafted for them.
Every project begins with strategy. I take time to understand the message behind the words and the audience you need to reach. From there, I develop each piece from initial pencil sketches to carefully refined digital artwork. Nothing is generated by artificial intelligence. Every letter is thoughtfully drawn to communicate with clarity, personality, and intention.
Originally from Colombia, my path in design later brought me to the United States, where I earned my M.F.A. in Graphic Design. Over the past 20+ years I’ve worked with brands across a wide range of industries.
Along the way I discovered the craft that truly resonates with me: lettering design. I’m drawn to shaping language into form, giving words a visual voice that strengthens the message they carry.
Clients often describe me as reliable, collaborative, and mindful of timelines. I enjoy partnering with people who care about thoughtful, well-crafted design and clear communication throughout the process.
Outside the studio, I enjoy spending time with my family, making things by hand, traveling, and being outdoors. I’m naturally observant and tend to notice details others might miss—something that consistently informs my design work.
How I Work
