ME ENCANTA ENREDARME Poster Design
(I Love Getting Tangled Up)
This poster was created as an entry for the Show Us Your Type contest in collaboration with Las Manuelas*, a project that brings together visual artists from around the world and women artisans from the Andean highlands of Peru. In my poster each letter mimics a thread, weaving into a continuous colorful line that loops, wraps, and tangles across the space, playful, messy, and alive, much like a ball of yarn joyfully unraveling.
* Las Manuelas is a cooperative initiative founded in 2012 by the Peruvian organization Movimiento Manuela Ramos and European designer Isabel Berz. Las Manuelas has developed a powerful collaborative design model to engage a small community of women, alpaca farmers and artisans from the remote Andean highlands of southern Peru, in connecting with an expanding international network of designers, artists, institutions, and contributors. This long-standing initiative has led to a wide range of collaborative projects, limited editions, exhibitions, and international recognitions.
