Ironwood Distillery. Craft Spirits Branding / Hand Lettering
Ironwood Distillery came to the table with a clear sense of what they weren't: they weren't a mass-market bourbon and didn't want to look like one. Small batch, American oak, Batch No. 7, a product with a specific story. The brief was to build something that felt earned.
The lettering draws on Victorian wood type tradition: high contrast strokes, inline detailing, diamond ornaments at the stress points, built around a ribbon device that gives BOURBON the scale and presence it deserves. The result is a label that feels like it has been around long enough to have a reputation.
